How do you get to soho manhattan taking the 7 train by jackson heights?

I'm here to visit around new york & right now im just visiting this beautiful place i heard soho is great. I need help getting there , i heard you take the 7 from 82nd go stop at 74th then go down & take the F then stop where? thankyou
