Do you agree that Australian cricket selectors have sharpened a double edged sword?

For my mind i agree with most that Katich was hard done by but selectors may have done damage to the youth they are trying to bring through the ranks. With all the media hoo har surrounding Katich's departure don't you agree that Phillip Hughes now has the weight of selectors expectations on his shoulders? Now I am not a Phil Hughes fan but that does not mean I do not wish him to succeed as a test batsman. I just don't think he is the right man for the job. Your genuine comments greatly appreciated.
