I am getting the Mytouch 4g and I was wondering how you can lock the screen?

On my friends phone, he can do this thing were its like a connect the dots type thing and he does this cool patturn and it unlocks the phone and I was wondering if this phone has the same feature or not! Sorry its not more detailed on what it is. I just know it like nine big dots on the screen and you can make up a design thing and when ever you want to unlock the phone you just connect the dots. its pretty cool!
