Are Future Beach kayaks considered walmartish?What is a reputable quality kayak brand?

My sister and I just got a future beach 126 and fusion 124 our first kayaks just getting into the hobby but im liking it and plan to drop some more cash in the coming months on a more advanced kayak so what are some brands that are the nine/burton/apple of the kayak market?any tips on where and what to buy would be much appreciated. Id like a touring kayak with lots of storage hopefully for rivers and some coastal excursions perhaps. Thanks in advance!
